I just moved into a new house and set up virgin media WiFi with a Netgear modem. Every time I open up my laptop, it won't connect to the internet, with the problem supposedly being "problem with wireless adapter" (even though my phone connects fine) or more often "wireless security types do not match"/"the settings for this network do not match the settings saved on this computer".
However, after a while (from 2 to 15 minutes) of repeatedly trying to connect it ends up connecting and working fine until I log-off or put my laptop in sleep mode, then when I open it up again it won't connect again. It's pretty frustrating having to wait for ages to use the internet every time I open up my laptop! Can anyone help?
