Latency Problems with Belkin USB Adapter

Before I begin, here are my specs using the TSG SysInfo:
Tech Support Guy System Info Utility version 1.0.0.2
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1, 64 bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 60 Stepping 3
Processor Count: 8
RAM: 32621 Mb
Graphics Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600, -1984 Mb
Hard Drives: C: Total - 912078 MB, Free - 684616 MB;
Motherboard: Acer, Veriton M4630G
Antivirus: None (Not Yet)
I'm having this problem that my games are always laggy (as in networking wise.) I just got a new computer and I realized that the computer does not come with a built in wireless card for networking, so I continued to buy a Belkin N750 DB/N900 DB Dual-Band Wifi USB adapter. When I followed the installation instructions for the driver software for the device, I restarted my computer to finalize the installation. After that, I checked my down speed via Network and Sharing Center in control panel, and i'm getting about 130 mbps. For example, I downloaded a game called Counter Strike: Global Offensive to bench mark my computer. I'm getting a good frame rate, but every game I join, I have over 500 ping, and making the game unplayable. This really bothers me, because in the same room, another computer capable or running CSGO at about the same frame rate has on average less than 10 ping. The only difference is that it's using a built in card and is about 1 foot from the router (my computer is less than 7 feet away.) I don't understand what's going on. I havent installed any other programs that should interfere for my connecting. The internet works fine, and i can download Steam games at 2.2 mbps, but I don't understand the latency problem. Please help me as soon as you can
-Marcus
