I have a 2009 Dell Inspiron Laptop, N1710 model P14E. Am using a Netgear wireless modem/router and while connected using an Ethernet cable I do have an Internet connection, But when I disconnect the Ethernet cable I no longer have the Internet connection.. My F2 key has the wireless symbol but when I click on it then the connection does not turn to, "ON".
I've looked but I cannot locate a User's Guide on my laptop, nor a printed copy. The disk that came with the laptop is ONLY to reinstall the operating system. Any suggestions?
Incidentally, when I click on the, "Download TSG SysInfo", all it wants to do is SAVE; it does not display so that I can then copy and paste.
