I am running Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit. When I try to access the web using IE 11, I receive the message "Waiting for Yahoo.com (or whatever). The Internet icon in the taskbar shows 5 bars and my wireless adapter shows link quality of 100% and signal strength of 60% or greater. Everything shows that I am connected to the network and internet, however I cannot see other computers on my network nor can I access the Internet. I have restored my system to a date when everything was working, downloaded and re-installed IE 11, tried connecting and disconnecting the adapter (tried several adapters that work on other network computers).
The "false network" seems to load very slowly and sometimes stalls with the blue circle not moving over the icon bars. I can occasionally get access by re-booting or booting up in safe mode.
