I have an Ethernet cable ran under the house from the router to a wall plate in my bedroom. I currently have a laptop I'd like to get on this Ethernet connection along with the desktop.
My desktop is currently on that single Ethernet cable. I'd like to install a non-managed switch, something like 5 ports (not sure they make them with fewer ports but 5 will work.) I currently have a laptop I'd like to get on this Ethernet connection along with the desktop.
As I understand it, Cisco is the way to go for reliability. I was thinking about this model:

Seems like a pretty solid choice. Feedback on that would be more than welcome!
I can see a printer for sure and possibly another PC (possibly a web server) added to this network.
Does the incoming internet connection use one of the 5 ports?
My bandwidth is 32 Mbps/5Mbps
Thanks for your advice in advance!
