Trouble maintaining Wi-Fi connections

I've had this laptop since early May and it's been flawless. Within the past two/three weeks it refuses to stay connected to Wi-Fi. I've used both the mobile hotspot on my phone and the router that we have in our apartment, but the connection drops every so often and it won't automatically reconnect and usually takes two or three tries and I usually have to turn the Wi-Fi on and off on my laptop again before it will connect again. It's incredibly frustrating to not maintain a constant connection. I did do a system restore to August 18th, hoping this would clear things up, but it did not help.

Any tips or advice? Anything I am leaving out?
