Hello all! I believe this is the right place to ask this, but if it isn't I am sorry.
I work as an IT associate in a very small village. One of the villager's computers had completely broken and required a complete wipe and OS reinstall just to get it to turn on. Now the thing is on a completely stripped down version of Windows 7 and is missing tons of necessary drivers, but it can't connect to the village network without said drivers, and without being connected to the network I can't get it to connect to the internet.
I have tried downloading the necessary drivers on a secondary computer and transferring them over to the broken computer, but I have not met with much success. I ran a missing driver scan and it is missing: pci simple communications controller driver, sm bus controller driver, network controller driver, ethernet controller driver, universal serial bus (USB) controller driver, and a couple unknown device drivers.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what I should try next I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you, and have a nice day.
