Just recently acquired a new RV220W Cisco router, and I found the content filtering on it actually works, so I added the word "proxy" to the filtering list to keep my son off of those "proxy" sites that allow him to surf the web anonymously.
The only issue is that with this keyword blocked, I can't use my phone to connect to my cable boxes at home through the Optimum app. As soon as I disable the content filtering, I can access the cable box again.
Does anyone know how I can block "proxy" AND use my app on my phone, or will this be a constant "you can only use one at a time" feature?
I do have the ability to add a specific URL into an "exception" list, but how do I find out what that URL is that I need to add?
