Okay here's my problem. I was having a problem with my Mozilla Firefox browser and I've done about 5 clean installs. Each time it's fine for a while, then after a day the problem is there again. I think it may be an issue with my network. Every time I fix the problem the Domain Controller or the Network Controller goes in and does a recovery or a restore. I know this because when I go to fill in a form the information saved there is from months ago. And when I do the clean install I don't save any profiles, I just import my bookmarks json file, so there should not be any form information saved. This is also effecting my Embedded Security. I'm not able to use Credential Manager to logon to Windows. I just reset the TPM Embedded Security this morning (about 12 hours ago) and all that time I was able to use the Credential Manager and after restarting my computer 20 minutes ago here's the message that I'm getting: Please wait ...while TPM is connected. Then after waiting two minutes I get this message:
You use the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for identity encryption, but the system is unable to access TPM. If you continue logging into Credential Manager the software encryption will be used for identity protection and some data may be lost. To prevent data loss logon to Windows without using Credential Manager to restore access to the TPM befor attempting logon.
So either someone is somehow doing a restore or someone is logging on to my computer with their device that has old information stored on it. Is there a way to block others on the network from accessing my computer? What would happen if I changed my domain? What would happen if I change my computer name? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
