I have a Win 2012 Foundation Server running VBox with four Windows 7 Pro Virtual machines running. The VM's can be accessed by RDP with all having different ports for the RDP connection. In connecting to the remote VM, I have printers and drives set to connect. Created reg entry HKLM\Software\policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Printers\RegisterSpoolerRemoteRpcEndPoint with value of 1. In GP under Computer\Administrator Templates\Printers, I allowed Print Spooler to accept client connections. Here is the problem I am having. The VM's talk to the server to run a fuel delivery software that prints to a ticket printer. The ticket printer is attached to the remote pc, and shared as "Tickets", everyone is given full controll in security. I have the pooling feature turned on with the USB port and LPT1 selected. On the Win7 host, the printer installs, as Tickets (redirected 2), PORT=TSxxx Description=pcname: PRN3. The host can print a test page as soon as I hit the print button. In the program, I have the ticket printer set as :DMP_tkt=\\remote pc name\Tickets, but returns "Printer Error", and nothing prints. In windows Explorer on the HOST PC, under network, I can see Tsclient, The drive "C" is listed under Local Computer and I can access the files on C drive with no problem. When browsing \\Tsclient, nothing shows up. If I click view printers, nothing shows up. If I click add printer, I get error, no permissions. In a command, net view only shows the server and 4 vm's, and i cannot ping either tsclient, or \\pcname.Please tell me what the heck I am missing here.
