Wifi Adapter not listed in ipconfig /all

Hello there.

I installed Comodo Firewall last month but the installation stopped abruptly and the laptop rebooted. After I logged in again, both the ethernet and Wifi stopped working. By working around, I was able to remove the Comodo Secure DNS from the settings and also reinstalled both the drivers for ethernet and Wifi. Ethernet was functional again. But this didn't solve the problem with the wifi adapter.

Its not even listed when i type ipconfig /all in the cmd. But my driver is visible under device manager and there is no X or ! against its name.

I've tried every possible thing that is given on the internet but my problem persists.

When I use Ubuntu on the same machine, my wifi works. So I guess there's no issue with the hardware. I've got some important files and softwares on my laptop so formatting my machine is not an option right now.

Hoping someone out there can help me! :)
