Hi!
I have two routers connected to each other, through a powerline adapter, so that I can have Wi-Fi through out my house. I am trying to set up a nonprofit teamspeak server but I am not sure how I should forward the ports.
Here are the IPs and ports I am working with.
Router 1 IP: 192.168.1.1 (main, directly connected to modem)
Router 2 IP: 192.168.1.2 (secondary, connected to router 1 through powerline)
My Computer's IP: 192.168.1.100(connected to router 2)
Server IP: 192.168.1.112(connected to router 2, teamspeak server is on this)
Teamspeak ports:
UDP Port 9987 inbound
TCP Port 10011 inbound
TCP Port 30033 inbound
ISP: Comcast
So my question is, do I need to portforward router 1 to router 2 and then to the server? or do I need to portforward from router 1 to the server?
I have tried both but I haven't had any luck. What else could I try?
edit: Trying configuration 1 (r1>r2>s) gives me a "connection refused" error on portchecktool.com. Configuration 2(r1>s) gives me a "no route to host" error. I am assuming the first configuration is the correct one, but I still cannot connect to the server.
