Solved: Network computer name question

How can I delete a computer name on my network. I just purchased 2 computers and 1 laptop all using windows 8.1 I have all 3 on my network and when I changed my computer name, the old name still appears on the network. So now I have 4 computers showing up in the network. Is there anyway to just delete the one that has the old name?

Problem solved, it was my fault....all I had to do was reboot the computer, duh!
