K9 web protection and websockets

Hi
I'm using K9 and it prevents me from using websites that use websocket.
The specific website i want to use is lichess.org
Is there a way to make lichess "skip" or bypass K9?
I am not a kid that tries to watch adult sites. I installed K9 myself and it works great. I only want to use lichess.org.
The info about websockets and K9 was given to me by the guy that runs lichess.
