Network folder access

Hello,

I work in a school and we've got a network lan setup. Thing is that we have a multi function photocopier and I can setup scan folders on the computer to connect to the multi function copier. It worked and all, but all of a sudden the photocopier can access only a few pcs. e.g. My network folder worked perfectly but now when i've reset my password and set it up on the machine, it can't locate my system. I went on various forums to check the remote access issues. Some said that i might need to update the graphics driver. Still no luck. Any suggestions please????
