Solved: Media disconnected

Hi. I am trying to connect my laptop to a wireless home network. My laptop can find my router, but not the modem to connect to the internet. I have diagnosed the problem to the media disconnected (ACER told me that some components that make my WiFi work are missing). Please, if someone can help me to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it!

I have read many other questions/topics for this and have tried all of them, from reseting winsock, ipv4, ipv6, and even restoring my computer to factory settings.

My computer is a laptop, ACER Aspire 5570Z running Vista Home Premium. My router is a NETGEAR N 300 wireless router. My cable modem is an Arris TM702G/CT and I have COMCAST internet service.

I have copied below my configuration:

I also checked Administrative Tools>Services and the only one that was on other lists that was not started on mine was the Computer Browser. When I tried to start it, I got the following: The Computer Browser service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.
