Powerlinking or better wireless adapter

My question is: Should I buy a powerlinking set to speed up internet browsing and make online games like WoW run better? or should I buy a better wireless adapter than what I have? I have a verizon d-link ADSL 2+ router, and yes I know wired connections are best, however that is not an option for me. Thank you
