I'm running Windows 8.1, and I am getting a BSoD whenever I connect to the wireless at my University. In fact, in only happens in a specific building at my University, and happens more often in a certain room. If I use my WiFi in any other building, at home, or use a wired connection, then I am free from BSoDs.
The error message is:
"Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you. (x% complete)
If you'd like to know more, you can search online later for the error: DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL Smb driver Intel.sys"
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled my wireless adapter drivers, and also uninstalled and replaced some of my other drivers in the process.
I am not sure what is causing this problem, and how I could only be receiving BSoDs from connection to the WiFi in specific locations.
