There is a tool at work that I'm working on that runs on NT.
There are multiple components to this machine, not all of the same manufacturer, that are tied together with VisualWorks and Windows NT.
Recently we had a hard drive issue, sent the drive out to data recovery, when it came back, a newer version of the main tool software was installed.
We were told, the new software ( actually a copy from another tool at another site ) may require IP changes since the tool it came from was slightly different than ours.
How or what can I check?
I'm guessing I should see a difference in the number of components the system sees.
But how do I check the IP addresses and hosts etc....is there a way?
Thanks
