Wireless dropping internet connection

Hello,

I have a level one router that is dropping the internet connection. It will work fine for 5 to 10 minutes and then the internet connection will go away. The router stays up but just has no internet access. Does anyone have any suggestions to try? Would changing the channel of the router help or would that only help if I was losing connection to the router?
