Every 55 minutes, a connection loss.

This is quite annoying and has been going on for about 6 months off and on.

It's not constant. Sometimes it only happens during one portion of the day.

My IP address is not changing, so I'm not sure if its my provider.

Basically, I often listen to internet radio via wmp. I also play online games.

When this happens, it happens every 55 minutes like clockwork.

I have to restart wmp and I get disconnected from one game, another game pauses for about 5 seconds and then resumes without disconnection.

I use windows 7.

I have tried re-installing my wmp.

I have run malwarebytes and my normal security program and nothing malicious is found.

Do ISPs occasionally do this with people with high band usage in case they are just running their pc when their afk?

Could my internet security, Comodo, have something set that breaks a connection temporarily when it sees to much constant usage, like one would see when one streams audio and plays online games?

Is there some kind of log that would show what is happening?

It seems to be too regular to be something other than something programmed to break connection when it happens exactly 55 minutes apart.

Thanks in advance for your help.
