No WiFi Connection After Fresh Install of Windows 7

Hi,

I did a fresh install of Windows 7 on my daughter's Dell portable computer. It came with Windows 8 installed and she doesn't like it. I cannot get the computer to recognize my Wifi connection which is with Verizon FIOS. My Dell XPS 720 desktop works just fine after a fresh install of Win 7.

This is a Dell Inspiron M731R laptop computer.

I have found and installed several network & LAN drivers but nothing works for connecting to the internet with my WiFi wireless Router. I can and am connected to the network with an ethernet cable. Just no wireless connection.

Here is the system info:
---------------------
Tech Support Guy System Info Utility version 1.0.0.2
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1, 64 bit
Processor: AMD A8-5545M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics, AMD64 Family 21 Model 19 Stepping 1
Processor Count: 4
RAM: 7373 Mb
Graphics Card: Standard VGA Graphics Adapter, 6 Mb
Hard Drives: C: Total - 953866 MB, Free - 909100 MB;
Motherboard: Dell Inc., 04VD0G
Antivirus: Microsoft Security Essentials, Updated and Enabled
-----------------------------

Oddly enough, when you view the Computer Properties, it states the computer is a Dell Inspiron 5735. Screen shot attached.

I also attached screen shots of the Device Manager, ipconfig /all and pings.

I have tried every thing I can think of to make the laptop connect with WiFi with no results.
Also, this laptop is configured with four USP ports, 3 on the left side and one on the right. When I plug in my wireless mouse connector, two of the ports on the left side will not recognize the mouse. The same thing with a Thumb Drive. The one on the right and one closest to the front of the computer on the left side will recognize the Thumb Drive and the mouse. The other two USP ports on the left will run my USB Fans (a stand with 3 small fans to cool the laptop).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Jerry

Tried to attach images but they didn't show up. Will try in a new post.
