I installed WindowsXP(black edition) on my Toshiba Sattelite C660D(had Windows 7 before) 3 days ago, and now my laptop doesn't connect to the wireless network.
I have a PC and a TP-LINK router, and another laptop, which connects just fine to the wireless netowrk. But, whenever I try to connect my laptop to the wireless network, I get the "Limited or no connectivity" message. When I press the "Repair" option, it says "Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed: Renewing your IP address".The connection status says that "the network did not assign a network addres to the computer".
One important thing i almost forgot to mention is that yesterday I took my laptop to a friend who has the same router(TP-LINK), and, surprise! it connected just fine! Back at home though, this "Limited or no connectivity" problem persists. In the "Activity" window, it appears to send Packets, but it doesn't recieve any(Sent - 415 | Recieved - 0).
