Hello...
I'm brand new to the forum - looking for help that Future Shop and the Source can't provide. Please excuse my lack of technical knowledge with respect to this.
I'm trying to help my inlaws get Wifi set up at their rural home. The currently have a pan dish which sends a 29.5V radio signal to their laptop through what I believe is a modem - the identical device can be seen at this link - http://www.westernbroadband.com/wlbhelp.php
When they boot up the laptop, they have to manually connect (almost like a dial in) to their ISP.
I have been somewhat successful in using their laptop to share a wireless connection with devices within 30 feet, but unfortunately the signal is weak and drops off routinely. Therefore, I would like to install a wireless router but can't figure out how to get it to "dial in" to their ISP.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
