TOSHIBA Satellite P105-S6024 failing to connect to gateway/DNS via Ethernet Connection. I have reset the IP address as well as both the Modem and Hub our network is on. Every time it starts we can confirm a local area connection, however it will not access the internet. It gives no value for the Gateway or the DNS, just blank slots as oppose to 0.0.0.0.0 and I tried just about everything, even systems restores and re-installing drivers. No go on anything I have tried. There is no Default gateway or DNS address set in the computer and I can not for some reason, access a factory restore. We are running XP.
