Hello everyone,
I have Comcast and I recently received a new modem from them and I am trying to hook up my existing wireless router and it will not work.
I am using a windows PC.
Wireless Router: linksys wrt54g2
Modem: Arris tm722
Everything worked fine with my old modem, but now I cant even connect to the internet now. Also the Comcast peeps don't know much on the phone and it gets frustrating because it seems like they just ask me to try general troubleshooting stuff and then forward me to someone else who asks me to try the same things that haven't worked. As of now I know the modem is fine, because i can connect directly to my computer and browse the internet fine, its just that when set everything up how its supposed to be set up the "link" light begins to flash orange and it looks like the modem is trying to communicate with the modem but it fails.
Would appreciate if i could get some help with that.....let me know if you need me to post any additional information.
