I've been having this problem for about a week now, and I've seriously tried everything. I recently moved into a new apartment with wifi already set up. When I connected to the modem via router cable, I was able to connect just fine. I have full connectivity but when I search on Chrome, IE, or Firefox, my computer says dns_probe_finished_no_internet. I don't think it's the router because my roommates computers connect without a problem and my ipod will connect. My dad's computer will connect, but sometimes it will drop the connection and have the same error. Although when I refresh it it goes back to normal. My laptop has not once connected.
I've tried turning my firewall off, flushing my dns, changing my dns server on ipv4, ipconfig, turning the router off for a while, allowing chrome to access my network and entering the network information in from scratch. Nothing is fixing it!!
Spotify will let me listen to music and that uses internet access.
I tried connecting in safe mode and it lets me browse that way. I hear that means a third party is interfering. It could be my antivirus protection, but I don't want to uninstall it in case I lose my subscription.
I start classes in a week and I really need my laptop to be properly functioning.
