I've been running speedtest on my laptop and it's been topping out at around 5mbps down, 9 mbps up, 40 ping on wireless, which doesn't make any sense. My phone on the other hand is getting speeds of 20+ down, 10+ up, around 40 ping as well on wireless.
When playing a game my ping is quite low, but will get random lag spikes into the 300+ range for no reason. It's gotten worse in the past couple of days. I haven't directly connected my laptop with an ethernet cable as I have no extras around, but I updated my wireless adapter drivers and it didn't do anything. Also scanned for malware several times. Any ideas?
