Hi,
Having a problem the computers on our network they cannot open www.micrsoft.com or any other microsoft address.
Both pcs are Windows 7 32bit
Says the webpage is unavailable, when i expand the page it has the following.
"The server at www.microsoft.com can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.
Access a cached copy of http://www.microsoft.com"
I tried to flush the DNS this did not work.
Tried to ping the ip address it timed out same when I pinged the www.
Have tried on internet explorer and chrome
Setup
Netgear router with a 24 port switch connected to a SBS 2008 server and all users computers / printers
