I think there's something wrong with the NAT feature of my modem/router. SMC7904WBRA2
I have several devices being connected to the internet from the modem/router. a cellphone, a laptop, a desktop computer and an Xbox 360. I have a static IP as well. I have set the modem/router's settings to be set on PPPoE so that every device in the house can connect to the internet at the same time with the same WAN IP.
the problem is that the Xbox won't accept the PPPoE connection from the modem as an internet connection for itself. but I can as well set a PPPoE connection on the Xbox itself (which acts as a bridged connection), but it will also keep other devices from being connected to the internet (as far as I know, bridged connections are meant to be set to only 1 local device) and I don't want that to happen. I have set the same settings on WAG120N and everything worked perfectly but the problem is that it was not mine and had to return it to the owner. if there's any ideas on how to fix this issue let me know!
