I was wondering if anyone could help me with my current situation, namely struggling to play online games.
In our house, we just got brand spanking new fibre broadband and i thought that all my previous network latency issues would go away, but they Havant.
I experience lag in game with ping up to 400, and most of the time i am also in a skype call with members of our clan and the call can become delayed and unclear, eventually just stopping.
on
some times i am just browsing the web and a page fails to load, and simply disconnecting and reconnecting using the icons on the taskbar can fix this, but um sure you realise this is very impractical in a competitive gaming scenario.
Harware:
DOWNSTAIRS in the office is a plusnet technicolour router and a BT modem, both installed a by a BT engineer.
UPSTAIRS is my computer, witch has 8gb of RAM, an AMD A8-6600K APU processor (Quad core) and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 graphics card. Also, most relevant is my Tenda W322P+ V2.0 300Mbps network card.
Please help!
