I have been using a Cisco e1200 v1 for a few years. Recently our household has been doing more stuff outside on our 4 acre estate. So, as the household Network Admin, I switched from the stock firmware for dd-wrt v24-sp2 and up'd the TX power to 250 mW. Im not having a heat issue and for a while it covered the whole 4 acres. A couple of weeks ago the range fell to only covering the house. On the default dd-wrt page it says the power is 251mW, even though it is set in the Advanced Wireless settings to be 250mW. I have no idea how to fix this but need it fixed as we will be having family staying a couple of nights in their motor home on our property.
