I'm trying to share files between my pc and laptop (both ways). Both run Win7. I tried to do the homegroup thing, but it didn't work. I think its because I use Norton on my PC. Anyway, I thought I saw a solution to use involving using "sharing" to go back and forth.
BTW, I can see my laptop on my PC, but can't see my PC on my laptop. What to do?

PS- if it helps, when I try to access files on the laptop from the PC, I get a pop up looking for a user name and password which I have no idea what they are.
