Internet Will Sometimes Stop Working Entirely

I recently got a new wireless cable box, and have moved to Cox as my ISP. However, since their employee installed the new box and internet which is much faster than my old one, my internet suddenly stops working after either me downloading something, or just sometimes suddenly. I'm not quite sure what's causing it, but since this problem seems to only happen to me, I surmise it might be my computer that's the problem, but am unsure how to fix it.
