Hi,
A short while ago my fibre optic broadband connection with TalkTalk (UK ISP provider) dropped and when it came back on I couldn't connect my laptop via WiFi only by hard wire (LAN cable|).
The Ping and Traceroute tests seemed OK and TalkTalk checked everything their end with them saying that it is my laptop/network adapter/settings at fault. I had managed to regain the WiFi connection by amending some of the connection properties and used the laptop to fault diagnose my motorcycle for a number of hours however some days after when I went to use it again via the WiFi link it would, and will still, not connect.
The router is a Huawei HG533 IP address 192.168.11 and my Laptop details are below. The network adapter is Broadcom 802.11n
This is not the first time this scenario has happened but I have managed to get it all working again with the assistance of TalkTalk technical department however they state that they can not help me any further this time which means that I am now at my wits end trying to solve this problem. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
