Hi!
I have a problem that i need help with on Windows 7 x64.
I have a wireless router that works just fine, same is the connection to the internet when I connect the cable.
When I switch the internet cable to PC, I cannot connect to any web page, I receive the error: "The web page is not responding."
My internet works through cable with a static IP. The details from the network adapter are the same as the router (IP adress, Subnet mask, Default Gateway etc. all the same) and I can see in the notification area that my computer is connected to the internet, but when I open the browser to connect to a webpage I get the same error, when I press the button "Fix network connection" from the browser it says that my connection is good but it appears to be a problem with the site. When I open the Windows troubleshooter it doesn't find any errors; in the adapter status i can see that I receive/send packages; in Command Prompt I type "ping -t <My IP adress>" and I don't get any "request timed out."
Basically my PC is connected to the internet, but the browser doesn't connect to any site. When I switch the cable back into the wireless router and connect to it, I can connect to any site.....
I also tried changing the homegroup, changing the adapter priority in advanced settings, restarting the computer multiple times.....but no success. I don't know what to do next....reinstall the Windows maybe?
Ps: Sorry for my bad language, not native...
