Cell Signal

Wasn't sure where to post this, but i think this was the best place. Currently I use my smartphone for my home internet it is the best option for me currently ( i do this through tethering ). Usually it works great if i am in my bedroom which is on the top floor, i was curious what would be the best way to "boost" my signal throughout my house so i can enjoy decent reception throughout. I was looking at signal repeaters but wasn't sure what to get / what i need.
