USB Wireless Adaptors Work Well?

I would like to purchase the Google Chrome Cast. Last week, I purchased a new Samsung HD TV Model #UN22F5000AFZA. I do not have a wireless router or wireless service from my internet provider (Time Warner Cable). My modem is provided by Time Warner Cable (Arris TG 862). I have a laptop PC Dell Inspiron #1525 computer with Window Basic Vista. Could I use a a USB Wireless Adaptor to cast to my new HD TV? Do these USB Wireless adaptors work well? Any help would be appreciated. ;)
