Hey, new here.
So one day randomly last month my Acer Aspire laptop's internet stopped working. I use WiFi and I can connect but only get limited access, but everything else running off the router is working perfectly.
When in command prompt, ipconfig returns:
Windows IP Configuration
Tunnel adapter Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface:
Media State.............................:Media disconnected
Connection-specific DNS suffix..:
"
That's what it says with or without the limited access connection. And possibly the weirdest thing is that I cant even connect to the internet with an Ethernet cable. The computer acts as if nothing is plugged in, as if the port was off.
Things I've tried;
Restarting laptop/modem/router
Different Ethernet cables. I can confirm it's not the cables.
'Hardwiring' on different modems, as well as through different routers.
Uninstalling and re-installing my network adapter's driver
Plugging in an alternate network adapter\USB wireless NIC (not sure if I'm using that word correct)
I don't get it. Help?
