I have a Netgear DGN 2200 Router-modem that has a broken reset button. I confirmed this by opening the device itself to find the button actually missing...(I know there is supposed to be a button there because I used to have the same model at my home) There's no way I can solder anything to fix the issue internally. Unfortunately, some of my router configurations were changed by my room mate and now we are unable to log in (he accidentally changed the username and/or password) and configure the settings of my network on my computer. Is there a way I can reset the router console settings? I have everything to my disposal such as the router-modem itself and the computer that is connected to the device with an ethernet cable. My room mate tried to block certain keywords and websites that I use daily such as Google and reddit as a prank which is why I'm not able to Google this problem. You would think that if you had an ethernet cable hooked from the router to the computer you would be able to access it...
