Internet Anywhere

I have a client with an unusual problem. I have told my client that I don't have any idea of how to resolve this issue but that I will liase with my learned friends on this Forum and see if some genius can suggest a solution.

The Situation

My client and his wife are travel photographers. They own a Motor Yacht, located in the Mediterranean, which they use as home, office and transport. Currently, when they are in port, they use the local WiFi connection to connect to the Internet.

The Problem

Local WiFi connections at whatever marina they are currently moored at are inconvenient, slow, insecure and often not available. In the summer, moorings at marinas in the Med are sometimes difficult to obtain. This will often result in deadlines being missed and frustration all round.

They would like to be able to connect to the Internet at any time from their Yacht. This would enable them to upload photographs to magazine editors quickly, easily and securely and eliminate all the current issues.

The Question

What equipment would they need to facilitate such a connection and which service provider will provide a service that will enable them to connect anywhere at anytime?
