I work for isp, We are facing issue with one of our client
ISSUE:High LATENCY AND INCONSISTENT CONNECTIVITY TO STATIC IP WHILE PING FROM EXTERNAL NETWORK, WHEN CCTV CONNECTED TO ROUTER AND NO LATENCY WHEN CCTV DISCONNECTED FROM ROUTER.
Setup: Static ip configured on dlink dir 600l , port forwarding done for DVR , Router configured with parental controls on. MTU size is set default 1500bytes. 2 systems connected through Router lan. power supply is given through spike (desktop monitor and cpu , router , cctv camera, 2other)
My suspection: Router getting over load than it can handle (or) due spike power supply to router getting latency (or) is there some thing from CCTV setting.
Kindly help who are familiar with CCTV(DVR) and Latency. Thanks in advance.
