Cannot connect to internet

I have a desktop and a laptop computer which were both working fine with the internet until yesterday when I updated my Malwarebytes files. Now my laptop will not load web pages. I cannot connect with the laptop which is running Windows XP. When I open the Wireless Network Connection Status window it shows my network with excellent strength. When I open control panel and click on Network Connections I shows my network and shows this message: Limited or no connectivity.
I don't know much about networks and I don't know how updating Malwarebytes would do this. Please help!
