Wireless speed not hitting max

Hello,

I recently had to buy a new laptop because my old one had a bunch of issues.

It is a Dell, and the wireless card is a 10/100 Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN

When I do a speed test, I am hitting about 30-35Mbps. My Internet connection has max speeds of 100Mbps, and on my work laptop I can get around 95Mbps wirelessly.

I thought with the /n they could hit speeds higher than 100Mbps? Are there settings I can try changing on the laptop to get my wireless speeds faster, or could it be that the card Dell included just isn't powerful enough to get these speeds?

I don't want to mess with the hardware too much since this was the cause of most problems on my old laptop, but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions to try.

Thanks in advance,
