I have been given an elderly but hardly used and well looked after Fujitsu laptop. To cut a long story short i have just reinstalled Windows XP Home Edition from the original recovery discs.
But I can't figure out how to get back online. I've managed to create a 1394 connection, which says its connected... but no LAN.
Currently I am wired, tho would like to recover the wireless capability too. But wired is fine to get going.
Am I missing drivers? How would I tell? And which? and where do I get them from? I have tried the Fujitsu Siemens website and it doesn't recognize the serial number.
This is the first time I have done an OS reinstall.... clearly I am not sufficiently techy to finish it off!
