Hi..... I need to share internet and 2 printers (hp officejet 4500 g510g-m and canon lbp 2900) with 6 desktops(4 Win 7, 2 Win XP). I have got a Belkin N150 ADSL modem+router and a brand new Dlink DES-1008A 8-port switch. So, when I connect each computer to the switch and switch to the modem I am able to share printers with other desktops but I am not able to access internet on any desktop. When I look up modem's DHCP client list, I can see all the desktops getting ip's from the router but when I see it's "security log" it shows IP:x.x.x.x ARP failed and ip is returned to the pool and the desktops go off the DHCP list. I don't know what that means. I guess it tries to assign IP but fails to get any response from desktops. Running ipconfig /all shows autoconfigured ip assigned by the respective OS.
What am I doing wrong?
