For awhile I have been having internet problems. The problem is that the internet will randomly stop working it will show you are still connected but nothing will load and it will stay like this for up to 40 minutes.
I have tried a lot of things such as: Reset Modem/Router, Update Your Driver, Unplug it for 30 seconds, one of your tech's came out on thursday and gave us a new router and that still does not help. I have also tried changing the channel frequency incase of interference.
Also have tried scanning all of the computers connected to the internet for a possible virus to put down the internet and that is not the problem either. I have tried just about everything I can and I am 95% sure that nothing from our end is putting it down
I have tried all those things and still crashes. I just upgraded the internet to be just about the top speed and I am $93 a month including taxes for internet that is down half the time.
Also whenever I contact one of your Online Tech Supports they say "We can't see anything from our end" but like I said I am 95% sure it is.
Maybe the problem could be a Cable Signal Leakage?
Things I have tried and filled out for more information:
- What is the name and model number of your router and modem: Router is a Arris and the Model Number is: SBG6782-HH. Modem: Arris and the Model Number is: TM602G/115
- Does the issue happen to every one connected to wifi: Yes
- Does the issue still persist if you are connected directly to router: Yes
- how about directly to modem: Yes
- Are people all using the internet at an extreme rate: A little bit I guess but if that is causing it then why didn't we have problems before?
- What time of day is it?: It happens randomly
