HP Laser will not print

Hi to all at Techguy.

This problem has been unsolvable for 2 weeks.. I have tried all manner or things, but basically here is the problem

Im running XP SP3
I have also a Laptop Win 7 (Asus)
I have 2 Printers one old HP Laserjet 6 which works fine on Laptop and Office Computer.
The Old Lasejet also works fine on the Office machine

I have a NEW HP LaserJet P1102 That works fine from the Laptop, but as I say, NOT from the office Machine. It is connected by USB Not a WiFi model.

So.. It wont install from the Embedded Software in the Printer ie.. Plug in and up pops an Install program.. It runs.. it does a few things.. and then it starts to install Drivers.. and a popup comes on saying This printer cannot be installed, "Section needed not found in INF."

Meaning I assume.. that HP left something out.. or the INF File is incorrect..

No worries.. I Install using ADD Printer..
All goes well I point the installer to the CD Autorun.Inf and away it goes.
Printer is installed and appears in the Printer and Fax box

But it wont print.

I have checked the USB port assigned is USB001 Virtual Printer Port.

This is the same Port I use for the other Laser jet (6L ) and that works fine, so the Port is ok, the cables are all ok.. NEW and i have swapped them around to check

I have downloaded the latest drivers and updates and firmware for this printer ( HP P1102 ) and tried that, but it didnt work either.

I went thru REGEDIT and deleted ALL references to this printer and re installed the drivers AGAIN..
using the same as above... I have un installed and re installed at least 5 times.. it doesnt make any difference..

This printer DID work ok on the computer .. but for some reason decided it would stop working.

I have worn myself out trying to fix this.. does anyone.. PLEASE.. have any ideas.?
