I will try to describe the issue as best I can, although I am pretty unfamiliar with networking.
Small business computer originally part of a network which is running off a server in the office through a dlink.
We have a Nucleus by Wayne Dresser gas controller(a computer which controls our pump and pos software), my workstation interfaces with it so I can import and export from a BOS 3rd party software. When they did a upgrade of the Nucleus computer it was neccesary to put my computer on a new router which was required for the new install to work and interface properly.
So my computer was taken off the Dlink router and consequently i am off our office network(server which our quickbooks and other programs operate off of), although i have internet capability.
What i would like is to not touch anything to do with the new router and install, while being able to get back on our office network.
Thx for any help, and i will try to give more info I can which you might need.
Thx
