Wireless Storage Error

I got a wireless router at Goodwill a few weeks back because it had a USB port on the back, I thought this would come in handy for sharing files with my friends and family. After updating the router with a download from http://support.linksys.com/ I got a 4 gig USB flash drive just to test it out. I type \\192.168.1.1 in the file explorer on my moms windows 7 laptop and vioala, all the files appear as they should. However, on my Windows 8.1 desktop I get this error message "Windows cannot access \\192.168.1.1 Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise there might be a problem with your network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose. Error code 0x80004005 Unspecified error." Diagnosing does nothing as per usual.

The router is a Linksys EA3500 latest firmware.

Every other machine that I try to access the storage works fine, it's just mine.

I even put 3 different wireless adapters in my PC to see if that would work to no avail.

I can't think of anymore information to add here so just ask :)
